Welcome to Kings & Queens Teaching Hospital, the Only Royal Hospital in Ghana and the flagship of the Kings & Queens Medical University College. We are Strategically located near the heart of downtown Kpong, in the Eastern Region about one Hour Drive from Kotoka International Airport on the Kings & Queens Medical University College campus.

Kings & Queens Teaching Hospital is part of U-Health Facility, the region’s only University-based health system. Our patients benefit from the latest advances in patient care, research and education being developed at the Kings & Queens Medical University faculty of Medicine.
We are proud to have world-class facilities that attract patients from around the globe. But most importantly, we are proud of the highest level of care and dedication provided by our entire staff of physicians, nurses, employees and volunteers.
Kings & Queens Teaching Hospital is the Only Hospital in Ghana with Holidays providing 24 Hours Out-Patient and In-Patients Services to our Cherished Patients. This dedicated is clearly Incorporated into our Hospital Name “Kings & Queens” which means that our Cherished Patients will be treated as Royal Queens & Kings.
We consider ourselves more than a hospital, we consider ourselves vital members of our society. It is reflected by the many unique patient services available. And, in the numerous outreach and education programs the hospital provides through Ghana and West Africa.
Kings & Queens Teaching Hospital offers multiple in-patient and out-patient programs designed to meet the need of every patient, no matter what the issue is. From our in-patient adult, child, and adolescent programs to our out-patient partial hospitalization and intensive out-patient programs, our continuum of care provides the treatment necessary to move our patients toward a more independent future.
